To provide you with a tailored experience, we collect certain profile details such as your date of birth, sex, height, and weight. The information you provide plays a crucial role in personalising Easy Diet Diary to your needs. Your profile information is used to calculate the following:
Update your name
Your name is set when creating your Easy Diet Diary account. To update your name:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Name.
- Enter your updated name.
- Tap Save.
This name will now be reflected in your account. If your Easy Diet Diary account is linked to a Foodworks client, your name change will be reflected in Foodworks.
Update your date of birth
Your date of birth is set when creating your Easy Diet Diary account. To update your date of birth:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Date of birth.
- Enter your birthday using the following format dd/mm/yyyy.
- Tap Save.
Date of birth is required to calculate your suggested energy goal.
Update your sex
Your sex is set when creating your Easy Diet Diary account. To update your sex:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Sex.
- Select your sex from Male, Female or Prefer not to disclose.
- Tap Save.
Sex is required to calculate your suggested energy goal. You may prefer not to disclose your sex, however, Easy Diet Diary will not calculate a suggested energy goal.
Update the measures used throughout Easy Diet Diary
The measures (imperial or metric) used throughout Easy Diet Diary are selected when creating your Easy Diet Diary account. To update the measures used:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Measures.
- Set your preferences for Height (cm or ft in) and Weight (kg or lb).
The measures selected are used throughout Easy Diet Diary, you may update the measures at any time.
Update your height
Your height can be set when creating your Easy Diet Diary account. To update your height:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Height.
- Enter your height.
- Tap Save.
Height is used to calculate your body mass index (BMI). Your BMI is used to inform your healthy weight range and suggested weight goals.
Update your weight
Your weight can be set when creating your Easy Diet Diary account. To update your weight:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Weight.
- Enter your weight.
- Tap Save.
Weight is used to calculate your BMI and your energy goals. Your logged weight history is also displayed in the weight graph and can be updated in the Graphs tab.
Update your weight goal
Your weight goal can be set when creating your Easy Diet Diary account. To update your weight goal:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Weight goal.
- Enter your weight goal.
- Tap Save.
Easy Diet Diary may suggest a healthy weight range and a weight goal to you based on your profile details.
Your healthy weight range is intended to support your health journey. It is based on a healthy body mass index (BMI) for your height.
You should use the healthy weight range and suggested weight goals as guiding metrics rather than a strict rule. These values are designed to provide general guidance on achieving and maintaining a healthy and realistic weight. However, individual circumstances may warrant special considerations. Update your energy goal
Your energy goal can be set when creating your Easy Diet Diary account. To update your energy goal:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Energy goal.
- Enter your energy goal.
- Tap Save.
Easy Diet Diary may suggest an energy goal to you based on your profile details and weight goal.
Your suggested energy goal is intended to serve as a helpful starting point for your daily energy requirements. For more information see About suggested energy goal.
